Walking

Moray offers fantastic walking, with scenery to match,
from gentle paths to the mountains of the Cairngorms.

The Speyside Way is a well marked pathway from Buckie on the North Coast of Moray,
down to Aviemore on the edge of the Cairngorm Mountains.
A reasonable part of the 65 mile path is a disused railway and follows the River Spey.

The Coastal Path runs along the Moray coastline offering stunning views,
picturesque harbours and amazing unspoilt beaches.
The beautiful Bow Fiddle Rock at Cullen is not to be missed!

If you fancy more of a challenge, in the Summer months
there is a chair-lift at Lecht and a mountain railway at Aviemore,
both taking you high into the Cairngorm Mountains
with amazing walks and breathtaking views.

There are also plenty of lovely local walks very close to the cottages.
