Railways

If you are interested in railways, there are two locally.

The Keith & Dufftown Railway (only 3 miles away) is an 11 mile line,
linking the towns of Dufftown and Keith.
The railway operates from April to September, mainly on
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Special events are held throughout the year, with Santa Specials,
Whisky Nosing & Tasting trips, Easter Bunny Weekend
and Whisky Festivals.

The Strathspey Steam Railway (43 miles away) is a 10 mile section
of the old Highland Railway Line, running between
Aviemore, Boat of Garten and Broomhill.
It operates mainly between April & October, most days of the week.
Special events are also held, including Santa Specials and Whisky Tastings.
You can also book Sunday Lunch,
Afternoon Tea & Evening Dining aboard certain trains.
